How to read it

What the line means

What is measured

At each reading the tracker takes every beta listing it can see for Normal, PvP and Roleplay on the Americas mega-server and keeps the cheapest one per ruleset, in US dollars per single gold coin.

What it is not

It is not an average and not our price. A single cheap listing sets the line until it sells out. For the price you would actually pay, open an offer on the beta board.

What moves it next

Our read, not a promise: prices jump when the live game opens on November 4, because every character starts with nothing. They ease as farmers build stock, and consumable demand returns when the 3 raids open on December 9.

Questions

Why does the tracker only show the beta?

Because the beta is the only place Forever gold changes hands before November 4. The line switches to the live game once it opens and sellers list launch gold.

Is this the price I will pay?

No. The line is the cheapest listing across all beta sellers at each reading. The price of a specific offer is on its card, straight from the seller.

Why is there no Hardcore line?

The tracker follows the three launch rulesets. Hardcore gets a line of its own once the mode is live and enough sellers list it to make a lowest price meaningful.
